Join the Book Club to discuss some fantastic reads! All are welcome (even if you haven't completed the book)!
We convene in the R to R Room at 3:30pm on the below dates. Our selections for Summer 2020 are as follows:
June 22 - Lilac Girls and Lost Roses by Martha Hall Kelly, which, inspired by the life of a real World War II heroine, reveals the power of unsung women to change history in their quest for love, freedom, and second chances
July 27 - The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict, which follows the incredible true story of Hedy Lamarr, the glamour icon and scientist whose groundbreaking invention revolutionized modern communication
August 24 - Clara and Mr. Tiffany by Susan Vreeland, which traces the journey of Clara Driscoll, who conceives of and designs nearly all of Tiffany's iconic leaded-glass lamps, and her desire for artistic recognition and the seemingly insurmountable challenges that she faces as a professional woman
